Many things important to me in my life, but playing paintball is pretty much what pertains to me on Ezboard. I caught the bug this past summer (2002) and have
been hooked since. Since I can only rationalize getting out to play about once a month, I decided a fun way to keep in touch with my new hobby would be through
being apart of an on-line community of local Colorado players. Well, seems there's wasn't really one place to go for people like me, so hey!... why not
make one???
So we arrive at PlayPaintballColorado.com. It's been a fun passion getting this site going. (With not a little bit of hard work and expense.)
I've also been very fortunate in crossing paths with Flip, a veteran player who spends most of his playing time in scenario games these days. I really
appreciate Flip's interest, patience, and help for this "Newbie's" ambitions with this site. But that's been one of the unforseen
benefits, of playing paintball... the PEOPLE you meet along the way. I'm amazed at how many neat/quality people I get to know through playing this game. I
guess there's a level of cameraderie in paintball that you don't readily find in other sports or activities. I think this, more than anything, is what
will keep my interest in paintball for many years to come.
As of spring 2003, we've been fortunate to pick up another partner for the site now too, Deacon. Deacon knows what he's talking about when it comes to
paintball gear and I/we're fortunate to have him as part of our little community.
So I hope you take an opportunity to visit with us on-line. I think it's a pretty good place to make some new as well as keep up with the old aquaintances
you've met along the way. Heck, you just might just find yourself spending some quality time (in a bunker!) with one of us down the road anyway...
